Caniatad am Stand / Permission for Stand.
Bydd eisteddle i ddal 300 o gefnogwyr yn cael ei godi yn Y Traeth. Mae’r cynllun, sydd wedi ei gymeradwyo gan gynllunwyr Gwynedd, yn cynnwys dymchwel yr eisteddle a’r ystafelloedd newid presennol. Bydd yr eisteddle newydd yn cynnwys, ystafelloedd newid, cawodydd a cyfleuserau storio.
Cytunodd aelodau aelodau o bwyllgor cynlunnio Gwynedd, ardal Dwyfor i adeilad deulawr gael ei godi tu ol i un o’r goliau. Bydd yr adeilad dau-bwrpas hwn yn cael ei ddefnyddio fel eisteddle a preswylfa, yn cynnwys lle byw i bennaeth y breswylfa.
Mae’r breswylfa yn un o syniadau’r clwb i greu incwm ychwanegol. Ei brif bwrpas fydd i roi lle aros i chwaraewyr fydd yn cymryd rhan mewn ysgolion haf peldroed, ond bydd heicwyr, beicwyr a grwpiau o bobl ifanc fydd yn ymweld ar ardal hefyd yn gallu gwneud defnydd o’r cyfleusterau.

A new stand capable of seating 300 spectators is to be built at y Traeth. The scheme, approved by Gwynedd Planners, involves demolishing the existing changing rooms and stand. The new stand will also include changing rooms, showers and storage facilities.
Members of Gwynedd’s Dwyfor area planning committee have also agreed to the erection of a two story building behind one goal for use as a stand and dormitory, including living accommodation for the dormitory manager.
The dormitory is one of the club’s ideas to create additional income. It’s main purpose is to provide accommodation for players attending football summer schools, but hikers, cyclists and groups of young people visiting the area would also be able to make use of it.

Mwy o Chwaraewyr Newydd / More New Signings.
Mae Porthmadog wedi ennill y frwydr am lofnod Danny Hughes a fu’n addawol iawn yn ystod ei gyfnod yn Hartlepool, cefodd gyfnod hefyd efo Wolves. Roedd wedi cael ei adrodd fod Bangor hefyd yn awyddus iawn i’w arwyddo, ond roedd Viv Williams eisoes wedi ei ddenu i’r Traeth. Mae hyn wedi cynnyddu’r nifer o chwaraewyr newydd sydd wedi cael eu harwyddo gan benaeth newydd egniol Porthmadog, y chwaraewyr newydd yw:

Gêm gyfeillgar gyntaf / Frist friendly match.
Bydd Port yn chwarae ei gem gyfeillgar gyntaf nos Fawrth Mehefin 18 yn erbyn Wrecsam mewn paratoad at y tymor newydd. Bydd hwn yn gyfle i Viv arbrofi gyda’r chwaraewyr mae wedi ychwanegu at y garfan dros yr haf. Nid oes ganddom unrhyw gadarnhad o gemau cyfeillgar eraill hyd yn hyn.

Port will play their first friendly match on Tuesday night July 18th against Wrexham in preparation for the new season. This will be a chance for Viv to experiment with the players he has added to the squad over the summer. We don’t have any confirmation of other friendliest as yet.

Chwaraewyr Newydd / New Signings
Mae cyn-chwaraewr Port, Steven Pugh wedi arwyddo i ddychwaelyd i'r clwb at y tymor newydd ar ol absenoldeb o ddau dymor. Roedd Pugh wrth gwrs, yn ystod ei gyfnod yn Wrecsam, yn aelod o dim dan-21 Cymru. Yn ymuno a Port hefyd mae Mark Owens, oedd yn brif-sgoriwr Bae Cemaes yn ystod y tymor dwythaf. Chwaraewr arall fydd yn ymuno o'r un clwb yw Warren Gibbs. Mae posibilrwydd hefyd y bydd Neil Roberts hefyd yn dychwelyd i'r Traeth.

Ex-Port player, Steven Pugh has signed to return to the club for the new season, following an absence of two seasons. Pugh, was of corse, during his time at Wrexam, a member of the Wales Under-21 squad. Also joining Port is Mark Owens, who was top scorer for Cemaes Bay during last season. Another player joining from the same club is Warren Gibbs. There is also a possibility that Neil Roberts will be returning to y Traeth.

Y Garfan / The Squad
Yn ol y wybodaeth sydd ganddom, mae'r mwyafrif o garfan y llynedd yn debygol o ail-arwyddo at y tymor nesaf ag eithrio Mike Davies a Adrian Owen, oedd wedi gadael y clwb i chwarae i Amlwch cyn diwedd y tymor.

According to the information we have, the majority of last season's squad is likely to re-sign for the new season with the exception of Mike Davies and Adrian Owen, who had left to play for amlwch before the end of the season.

Chwaraewyr Newydd / New Signings
Mae rheolwr Porthmadog, Viv Williams wedi cadarnhau fod pedwar chwaraewr wedi ymuno, sef Jason Joyce (cynt o Gaernarfon) sydd wedi cael cyfnod yn Port, Ryan Davies (cynt o Gemaes), Lee Dixon (Eilyddion Bangor a Conwy) a Danny Glyn Roberts (Bangor Colts). Mae arwyddo tri amddiffynnwr a un ymosodwr yn ddiddorol a gallai olygu arwyddo pellach yn enwedig ymosodwyr.

Porthmadog manager Viv Williams confirmed four new signings who are Jason Joyce (ex Caernarfon) also had previous spell with the club, Ryan Davies (ex Cemaes Bay), Lee Dixon (ex Bangor City Reserves and Conwy United) and Danny Glyn Roberts (Bangor City Colts). The aquisition of three defenders and one striker is an interesting fact and may mean that further signings especially of strikers is imminent.

AGM y Cymru Alliance / Cymru Alliance AGM.
Cafodd yr aelodau newydd i’r Cymru Alliance ei cadarnhau fel Caernarfon, Helygain a Airbus UK (British Aerospace). Bydd Corwen yn disgyn i Gynghrair Ardal Wrecsam, tra bydd Conwy, a ddisgynnodd o Gynghrair Cymru, yn mynd yn syth i’r Welsh Alliance oherwydd diffyg arian. Tynnwyd hefyd yr enwau allan o’r het ar gyfer rownd ragbrofol Cwpan y Gynghrair gyda Port i chwarae yn erbyn Treffynon.

The new members for the Cymru Alliance were confirmed as being Caernarfon, Halkyn Town and Airbus UK (British Aerospace). Mae Viv Williams wedi apwyntio Osian Roberts, cyn chwaraewr Bangor a chyn reolwr tim Ieuenctyd Cymru, fel hyfforddwr a rheolwr cynorthwyol. Yn fwy diweddar mae Roberts wedi bod yn Swyddog Datblygiad Pel-Droed yn Ynys Mon. Bydd apwyntiad Osian Roberts yn hwb mawr i’r tim gyda’i brofiad ym maes hyfforddiant a datblygiad chwaraewyr ifanc.

Port yn penodi rheolwr / Port appoint Manager.
Mae Port wedi penderfynu pwy fydd yn arwain y tim i mewn i’r tymor newydd, ar ol hysbysebu’r swydd yn y wasg ar draws Brydain. Cafwyd cryn ymateb i’r hysbyseb, ond penderfynodd y bwrdd, yn dilyn rhediad gwych ar ddiwedd y tymor hwn, gynnig y swydd i Viv Williams a gymrodd yr awennau dros dro hyd ddiwedd y tymor hwn. Cafodd Viv lawer o brofiad a llwyddiant ym mhel-droed Cymru yn ystod ei yrfa fel chwaraewr i Ddinas Bangor, gan chwarae yn Ewrop yn erbyn Athletico Madrid. Edrychwn ymlaen at y tymor newydd, gyda’r disgwyliadau yn uchel.

Port have decided who will take the team into the new season, after advertising the job in the press across Britain. There was quite a response to the advertisement, but the board decided, following the superb run at the end of this season, to offer the job to Viv Williams who took charge on a short term basis until the end of this season. Viv has had a great deal of experience and success in Welsh Football during his career as a player for Bangor City, playing in Europe against Athletico Madrid. We look forward to the new season with the expectations high.

Chwaraewr y Flwyddyn. / Player of the year.
Llongyfarchiadau i Stuart Williams ar gael ei bleidleisio yn chwaraewr y flwyddyn gan Gefnogwyr Port. Mae ei berfformiadau wedi bod yn gyson iawn trwy gydol y tymor, ag ychydig fyddai'n dadlau nad yw'n haeddu'r wobr. Gorffennodd Nigel Barry yn ail mewn cystadleuaeth agos iawn. Chwaraewr y flwyddyn i'r ail dim oedd cyn-ffefryn y tim cyntaf, Steven Smith.

Congratulations to Stuart Williams on being voted the supporters player of the year. His performances throughout the season were very consistant and few would doubt the fact that he deserved the award. Nigel Barry finished second in a very close-run competition. The reserves player of the year was ex first team favourite Steven Smith.

Gwobr arall! / Another award!
Mae’r wefan hon yn falch iawn i gyhoeddi ein bod wedi derbyn, am yr ail flwyddyn yn olynol, y wobr o “Wefan orau Pêl-Droed Cymru” gan gylchgrawn ’Welsh Football’, a noddwyd gan Team Media. Mae hon yn anrhydedd fawr, o ystyried y gystadleuaeth gryf gan nifer o safleoedd gwê teilwng eraill.

This website is very proud to announce that we have received, for the second year running, the award for “Best website in Welsh Football” by ’Welsh Football’ Magazine sponsored by Team Media. This is a great honour, considering the stiff competition from many other worthy websites.

Viv i gryfhau'r tim? / Viv to strengthen team?
Mae Viv Williams wedi datgan ei fod yn chwilio am chwaraewyr newydd i gryfhau'r tim. Dywedodd yn y rhaglen ei fod wedi ceisio arwyddo 3 chwaraewyr cyn y gem yn erbyn Llangefni. Mae hefyd wedi datgan ei fod wedi gofyn am ganiatad gan reolwyr dau glwb i siarad efo rhai o'i chwaraewyr ynglyn a symudiad i'r Treath. Dywedodd ".....un peth sydd wedi dod yn glir i mi,....... ,wrth gymryd drosodd mor hwyr yn y tymor, ydi'r anhawster i gael chwaraewyr i newid clybiau.
Roeddwn wedi gofyn i dri chwaraewr i ymuno efo'r tim cyn gem Llangefni, ac yn ystod yr wythnos ddiwethaf rwyf wedi rhoi rhybudd o ddiddordeb i ddau glwb ynglyn a trafod efo rhai o'r chwaraewyr i ymuno efo ni. Bydd yn rhaid aros i weld os yw'r diddordeb yma wedi bod yn llwyddiannus. Os ydi, rwyf yn sicr y bydd y ddau chwaraewr yn gwella'r tim....."

Viv Williams has revealed that he is looking for new players to strengthen the team. He said in the programme that he had attempted to sign 3 players before the clash with Llangefni. He also revealed that he had put a notice of approach to two clubs to talk to some of their players about a move to the Traeth. He said "....one thing which has become apparent to me,..........., taking over at this late stage in the year, is the difficulty in getting players to switch clubs.
I had asked three players to join us before the Llangefni game and in the past week I have put in a notice of approach to two clubs regarding talking to their players about joining us. We can only wait and see if these approaches are successful. If they are, then I am sure that both players will improve the squad ......"

Rheolwr Llawn Amser / Full-time Manager
Yn ôl cyfarwyddwr Porthmadog mae'r clwb yn chwilio am chwaraewr-reolwr llawn amser sydd gyda profiad o chwarae yng Nghyngrair Lloegr i gymryd dorsodd ar ôl Colin Hakins. Gwnaeth Clive Hague y datganiad hwn yn ei golofn newydd yn rhaglen y clwb - 'View from the Director's box.

'On the personnel side the board have decided to take the opportunity to seek a full-time player/coach/manager preferably with football league experience, who still has a couple of years playing in him with recognised coaching qualifications, who is seeking to move into management. The successful applicant, if we manage to attract someone, bearing in mind we are not going to pay more than we can afford, will be expected to reside within a reasonable distance of Porthmadog, as one of their major tasks will be to ensure that the best local footballing talent is given the opportunity to play for Port, if they are good enough.'
Os bydd y cynlluniau hyn yn cael ei gwireddu, mae'n sicr mai'r rheolwr hwn fydd yr un cyntaf llawn amser nid yn unig yn hanes Port ond hefyd cynghrair y Cymru Allinace.

The Porthmadog director's have stated that they are looking for a full-time player-manager with experience in the English League to take the place of Colin Hawkins. Clive Hague made this statement in his new column in the match programme - 'View from the Director's box.

'On the personnel side the board hve decided to take the opportunity to seek a full-time player/coach/manager preferably with football league experience, who still has a couple of years playing in him with recognised coaching qualifications, who is seeking to move into management. If these plans become reality, it must surely be the first full-time manager, not only in the history of Porthmadog but also the Cymru Alliance league.

Mwy o newyddion da yn y Gynhrair Llifoleuadau / More good news in the Flodlit League
Ennillodd Port o 6-1 yn erbyn Wyddgrug yng Nghynghrair Llifoleuadau Gogledd Cymru. Hon oedd gêm gyntaf Viv Williams yn ei swydd newydd fel rheolwr. Gobeithio gwnaiff y llwyddiant barhau!

Colin Hawkins yn ymddiswyddo. / Hawk resigns.
Datgelodd cyfarwyddwyr y clwb fod Colin Hawkins, a oedd i fod i barhau fel rheolwr hyd at ddiwedd y tymor, yn mynd i adael ei swydd ar unwaith. Mewn cyfarfod ar ddydd Sul, cytunodd Viv Williams, yr is-reolwr, i gymryd swydd y rheolwr hyd at ddiwedd y tymor. Mae’n debygol y bydd y swydd yn cael ei hysbysebu ar ddiwedd y tymor.
Mae’r ffaith fod Colin Hawkins yn cydlynio’r cynllun pel-droed yn y gymuned wedi achosi problemau iddo wrth geisio cyfuno’r ddwy swydd. Daw hyn a diwedd i gyfnod arall yn hanes un o gymeriadau mwyaf lliwgar pêl-droed gogledd Cymru. Bydd rhaid aros i weld beth ddaw nesaf i Colin Hawkins!

The Directors have announced that manager Colin Hawkins, who was to end his term as manager at the end of the season, will now leave the post immediately. In a meeting with Directors on Saturday, Viv Williams, the assistant-manager, agreed to take control of team affairs until the end of the season. It is expected that the club will advertise the position of first team manager.
Colin Hawkins has been heavily involved as co-ordinator of the club's successful Football in the Community scheme and has found it difficult to combine this with running the team. He will continue his roll as co-ordinator. This brings to a close another chapter in the career of one of North Wales football's greatest and most controversial characters. It is doubtful that this will prove to be the last we hear of him!
