TNS
Bur gefnogaeth a gawsom gan y cefnogwyr yn y gm yn erbyn TNS yn gymorth mawr. Credaf ei fod wedi cael effaith wrth ddod ni yn l ir gm yn dilyn cyfnod o ychydig funudau anodd tuag at ddiwedd yr hanner cyntaf. Mae torf o 437 yn newyddion da iawn sef dros gant yn fwy nar gm gyfatebol y llynedd. Mae ychydig yn ychwanegol drwyr gatiau yn gwneud gwahaniaeth ariannol ir clwb ac hefyd yn gwellar awyrgylch yn y gm. Roeddwn wedi fy mhlesio gydag ymdrech y chwaraewyr yr wythnos ddiwethaf ac roedd yn dda gweld nad oedd ein ffitrwydd yn dioddef oi gymharu chwaraewyr llawn-amser.

NEWI
Nos Fawrth teimlais fod ein perfformiad yn yr hanner cyntaf gydar gorau ers i ni ddychwelyd i Uwch Gynghrair Cymru. Maen broblem er hynny nad yw ein cyfnodau da yn cael eu troi yn goliau ychwanegol. Nid oedd yr ail hanner gystal ac, er inni ddominyddur meddiant, nid oeddem yn medru sgorior ail gl holl bwysig. Rhaid dechrau troi y gmau cyfartal yn fuddugoliaethau.

Y Cwpan Cenedlaethol
Byddwn yn chwarae yn y Gwpan Cenedlaethol mewn ychydig o wythnosau. Roedd cyrraedd y gystadleuaeth hon yn un on hamcanion ar gyfer y tymor diwethaf ac eleni rhaid inni anelu i fod ynddo flwyddyn nesaf hefyd.. Heblaw am y lleiafswm o 5,000 am gymryd rhan, mae chwarae yn y gystadleuaeth yn codi proffil y clwb ac yn tanlinellur ffaith fod y clwb yn datblygu ac yn symud ir cyfeiriad iawn.

Yr Ail Dim
Maer ail dm wedi cael dechrau da ir tymor gyda thair buddugoliaeth mewn pedair gm. Er hynny, maen siomedig fod dwy ou gmau yn ystod yr wythnos ddiwethaf wediu gohirio. Roedd gwrthod y dyrchafiad yr oeddynt wedii haeddu ar l ennill y gynghrair y tymor diwethaf, yn cael effaith ddrwg ar y tm. Mae wedi profin anoddach i gadw chwaraewyr ac hefyd iw denu. Maer rheol sydd yn rhwystro ail dimau rhag datblygu yn gwneud hin anoddach i Borthmadog gystadlu yn Uwch Gynghrair Cymru. Maer gagendor rhwng Cynghrair Gwynedd ac Uwch Gynghrair Cymru yn un enfawr. Maer gm yn llawer cyflymach yn Uwch Gynghrair Cymru. Heb amheuaeth, fedrair ail dm orffen yn hanner uchaf y Welsh Alliance ac mae llawer or chwaraewyr yn ddigon da i chwarae yn y Cymru Alliance ac mae nifer o glybiau ar y lefel yna wedi bod yn edrych ar ein chwaraewyr. Maer bennod yma wedii gwneud hin anoddach i Borthmadog ddatblygu chwaraewyr ac i ddenu chwaraewyr ifanc addawol. Fel rwyf wedi dweud or blaen, mae gormod o gynghreiriau yn yr ardal a byddai uno Cynghrair Gwynedd ar Welsh Alliance yn creu strwythur cryfach a mwy cystadleuol ac yn cynorthwyo i ddatblygu chwaraewyr ifanc a allai gyda lwc chwarae yn Uwch Gynghrair Cymru. Amser yn unig a ddengys os wnaiff strwythur or fath weld golau ddydd.

Daliwch i gredu.

TNS
We were helped against TNS by the tremendous support of the spectators. I think that it really had an effect and pulled us back into the match following the difficult few minutes at the end of the first half. A crowd of 437 is excellent news, over a hundred more than in the same game last season. A few more through the gate makes a big difference in revenue for the club but also in the atmosphere at the match. I was very pleased with the efforts of the players last week and we did not suffer in comparison with full time players in fitness which is nice to see.

NEWI
On Tuesday night I felt the first half performance was just about the best 45 minutes of football we have put together since our return to the Welsh Premier. The only problem was that we did not make our superiority count with a couple of extra goals. The second-half was not as good but we dominated possession but could not get the second all important goal. We do need to start turning these draws into wins.

Premier Cup
We will be playing in the FAW Premier Cup in a few weeks time. Reaching this competition was the goal last season and again this season we must aim to be in it next season. Apart from the minimum of 5,000 for each club who participate, playing in the competition is good for raising the profile of the club and underlines that the club is making progress and is moving in the right direction.

The Reserves
The reserves have enjoyed a good start to the season with three wins from four games. However its disappointing that two of their games have been postponed in the last week. Not being allowed the promotion they so richly deserved after winning the league last season has had a detrimental effect on the team. It has proved hard to retain and recruit players. The rule which stops reserve sides from making progress is I believe short sighted and makes it harder for Porthmadog to compete in the Welsh Premier. The gap between the Gwynedd League and the Welsh Premier is vast. The pace of the game in the Welsh Premier is much quicker. Undoubtedly the Reserves could have finished in the top half of the Welsh Alliance as many of the players are capable of playing in the Cymru Alliance and some clubs at that level have been looking at them. This episode has made it harder for Porthmadog to develop players and attract promising young players. As a club we need to reassess how we develop young players for the future and for the good of the club. As I have said before there are too many leagues in the area and amalgamating the Gwynedd League and the Welsh Alliance would produce a stronger more competitive league structure and develop young players who could with luck play in the Welsh Premier. Whether any such re-organisation will ever materialise only time will tell.

Thanks again for your continued support.
