Gêm TNS
Roedd yn dda gweld cystal torf ar gyfer y gêm yn erbyn TNS. Er inni golli, teimlaf ein bod wedi chwarae’n dda ac yn haeddu cael rhywbeth allan o’r gêm. Perfformiodd nifer o chwaraewyr ienga’r tîm yn dda a mae hyn yn fonws mawr imi ac i ddyfodol y clwb. Rwyf wedi dweud o’r blaen yn y golofn hon mai gêm garfan ydy pêl droed ac nid yn unig yr unarddeg sydd yn chwarae ar ddiwrnod arbennig sydd yn bwysig ond hefyd y rhai sydd ar y fainc ac yng ngweddill y garfan. Mae’n dweud llawer am y garfan mai dim ond tri chwaraewr sydd wedi ymddangos ym mhob gêm eleni ond, pwy bynnag sydd yn y tîm, rŷm wedi edrych yn gry’ ac yn solat bob tro. Mae’n dda gweld fod gennym chwaraewyr sydd yn gallu dod i mewn a chyflawni’r gwaith er lles y tîm. Rydym wedi medru dewis y tîm yn ôl gofynion y math o gêm rŷm yn bwriadu chwarae ar ddiwrnod neilltuol. Er ei bod yn anodd gadael chwaraewyr allan, dim ond lle i unarddeg allan o garfan o bymtheg sydd ac felly mae’n rhaid bod yn barod i wneud y dewisiadau caled. Pan fo’r alwad wedi dod, mae bob un wedi dod fewn a chwarae’n dda.

Campbell Harrison
Yn anffodus, fydd Campbell yn cychwyn gwaharddiad o ddwy gêm heno ( Cei Conna). Cafodd y gwaharddiad yn dilyn sylwadau wedi eu cyfeirio at llimanwr ac, er iddo gyfaddef iddo wneud, mae’n ymddangos nad ydy pawb yn cael eu trin yn yr un modd. Rwyf wedi bod i gêmau yn Uwchgyngrhair Cymru eleni lle mae chwaraewyr heb eu cosbi ar ôl llawer gwaeth trosedd na gyflawnwyd gan Campbell. Yr oll rwy’n gofyn amdano ydy cysondeb. Os ydy rhegi llimanwr yn haeddu gwaharddiad gan ambell swyddog ond ddim gan eraill mae’n gwneud ffwlbri o’r rheolau.

Ail a Thrydydd Tîm
Da oedd gweld fod yr ail a thrydydd tîm wedi ennill ddydd Sadwrn. Mae’r ail dîm yng nghanol rhediad ardderchog a nifer o chwaraewyr addawol yn creu argraff. Bu Jon Peris a Barry Evans yn y garfan yn rheolaidd ac hei lwc fe ddown i’r cae yn y dyfodol agos. Mae’r ddau Sbaenwr sydd wedi bod yn gymorth mawr i’r ail dîm yn dychwelyd i Sbaen yn dilyn y gêm ddydd Sadwrn. Mae’n siwr ein bod i gyd yn dymuno’n dda i Marc a Hector yn y dyfodol . Pob hwyl i’r tîm ieuenctid ddydd Sul yn y Trallwng pan fydant yn chwarae yng Ngwpan Ieuenctid Cymru.

TNS Game
It was great to see such a good crowd here for our game against TNS. Despite losing, I thought we played well and deserved something from the game. A number of the younger players in the team showed up well in the match and that is a real bonus for me and the future of the club. As I have mentioned in this column before, football is a squad game and it is not just the eleven who play on a particular day that are important but also the subs and the others who are in the squad. It is testimony to the squad that only three players have played in each game this season but we have looked strong and solid regardless of which permutation of players we have picked. It is good to see that we have players who can come in and do a job for the team. Some players are better suited - dependent on how we wish to play on a particular day. It is hard to leave players out but, with 15 players in the squad and only eleven starting places, difficult decisions have to be made. But the players have come in and played well whenever they have been called upon.

Campbell Harrison
Unfortunately Campbell will be starting his two match suspension tonight ( v Nomads). He received the ban for comments made to a linesman and although he put his hand up and accepted that he made the remarks it sometimes appears that nor everyone is treated in the same way. I have been to Welsh Premier games this season where players have got away with saying far worse to officials than in Campbell’s case. All I ask for is consistency. If swearing at an official is a sending off offence for some officials but not for others it makes a mockery of the rules.

Reserves
It was good to see that the both Reserves and 3rds won on Saturday. The reserves are in the middle of a good run and a number of fine young players are making an impact. Jon Peris and Barry Evans are brought into the first team squad regularly and hopefully they will get on in the near future. Our two Spanish players who have been a big asset to the reserves will be returning to Spain after Saturday’s game and I am sure that we would all like to wish Marc and Hector well for the future. I would like to wish the youth team well when they play Welshpool in the Welsh Youth cup on Sunday.
