Mae gan yr Ail Dm ar tm Dan 21 sef mwy na heb yr un chwaraewyr- 13 o gemau yng Nghynghrair Gwynedd a 5 o gemau yn y gynghrair Dan 21 iw chwarae cyn ddiwedd y tymor. Gyda gemau Uwch Gynghrair Cymru yn cael eu had-drefnu heb ystyried fod gemau Dan 21 eisoes wediu trefnu ar yr un noson maen sefyllfa a all arwain at fethu cwblhau rhaglen gemau cynghrair sydd yn eu thymor cyntaf. Mae gm Dan 21, a oedd i fod iw chwarae neithiwr (Mawrth 27ain), yn erbyn TNS wedii gohirio oherwydd ad-drefnu rhaglen yr Uwch Gynghrair ac or herwydd maer problemau ar gynydd.

Yn anffodus, mae sefyllfa Cynghrair Gwynedd r potensial i ddatblygun frwydr rhwng clwb a chynghrair. Bun rhaid i Borthmadog ohiriou gm yn erbyn ail dm Llangefni ddydd Sadwrn gan mai ond wyth chwaraewr iach oedd ar gael iddynt. Er fod Llangefni yn cydymdeimlo r broblem, ymddengys fod y gynghrair wedi ymateb fel teyrn gan fygwth diarddel Porthmadog or gynghrair os nad oedd y gm yn cael ei chwarae.! Cynigiodd Porthmadog chwaraer gm nos Iau nesaf (Mawrth 30) ac maent yn aros am ymateb. Yn ddealladwy, nid yw ysgrifennydd Porthmadog, Gerallt Owen yn rhy hapus efo agwedd y gynghrair. Yn ei nodiadau golygyddol yn y rhaglen maen dweud Maent yn ceisio ein taflu o gynghrair a enillon ni y llynedd a chynghrair y buon nin aelodau anrhydeddus ohoni ers blynyddoedd. Ychwanegodd Methodd nifer o glybiau eraill gwblhau gemau yn ystod y tymor ond maent yn neidio arnom ni wrth inni ond wneud yr un fath. Mae ganddo reswm da dros dynnu sylw at ddeuoliaeth ymateb y gynghrair ac, os edrychwch ar restr y gemau am y tymor, gwelwch fod tri thm wedi methu cyflawni gemau yn ystod Awst a Medi pan nad oedd y tywydd nac anafiadau yn broblem. Ar l methu gweithredu ar ddechraur tymor, rŵan gwelwn y gynghrair yn ymateb yn afresymol wrth i bethau fynd yn flr. Wrth derfynu meddai Gerallt ... bwriadar clwb sefyll i fyny ir gynghrair a chwblhau ei gemau rhwng rŵan diwedd y tymor.

The Reserves and Under 21s virtually the same players- have 13 Gwynedd League and 5 Under 21 league matches still to play before the end of the season. With WPL fixtures being rearranged without any consideration for U 21 fixtures already arranged, there must now be some doubt as to whether the U 21 League, in its inaugural season, can complete its programme. With the U21 against TNS due to be played last night (March 27th) becoming another victim of a rearranged WPL match, the problems are mounting.

The Gwynedd League situation has the ingredients for developing into a full scale club versus league spat. Porthmadog were forced to cry off from Saturdays match against Llangefni Reserves as they had only 8 fit players available. Though Llangefni were sympathetic to the problem, it appears that the league has taken a tyrannical stance threatening to expel Porthmadog from the league unless the fixture was fulfilled! Porthmadog offered this Thursday (March 30th) as an alternative date and await the leagues response. Porthmadog secretary Gerallt Owen is understandably none too pleased with the attitude of the league. In his match programme editorial notes he says They are now going to try to throw us out of a competition we won last season and one we have been a credit to since we joined it. He adds Many other clubs have been forced to cry off games this season, but we do it and we are clobbered. He has good grounds for complaining of double standards for a quick look at the list of reserve matches reveal that opposition teams failed to fulfil three matches during August and September before bad weather and before injuries had become a problem. The league obviously does not believe in the old adage of a stitch in time and now they are threatening totally unreasonable action to get themselves out of a hole. As a final riposte, Gerallt added the club will stand up to the league and we will fulfil our fixtures for the remainder of the season.
