Barn Cefnogwr - Bangor v Porthmadog

Saesneg / English

Ar ddechraur tymor, pan ofynnwyd i gefnogwyr Bangor pam roedd clwb y ddinas wedi gadael i Les Davies symud i Port, yr ateb oedd nad oedd y dyn mawr yn ddigon da i glwb ei dre enedigol. Sgwn i os ydynt yn dal i feddwl yr un fath?

Dwy ergyd wych gan Les a sicrhaodd y fuddugoliaeth a gyrru ei lu o gefnogwyr yn wyllt gacwn!

Aeth y ddwy ir rhwyd fel roced ond, gan nad oedd y cameru yno, ni fydd yn ennill Gl y Mis fel mae on haeddu.

Dangosodd Les ei werthfawrogiad ou ffans ifanc drwy dalu am y bws iddynt ddod i Ffordd Ffarar i weld y gm.

Roedd yn dda clywed cefnogwyr Port yn creu gymaint o swn a hynny mewn gm oddi cartref yn wir yn boddi lleisiaur cefnogwyr cartref.

Ychydig o siom oedd sylwi fod cefnogwyr Bangor mor ddistaw mewn gm ddarbi a hwy, yn y gorffennol, wedi bod y cefnogwyr mwyaf swnllyd a chefnogol yn y gynghrair. All hyn ddim bod yn beth da ir gynghrair.

Ychydig iawn o gyfleoedd greodd Porthmadog yn yr ail hanner a phrin fod amddiffyn Hwlffordd wedi cael cyfnod mor ddistaw hwn drwy gydol y tymor.

Roedd carfan Port wediu gwanhau yn arw ar gyfer y gm ond fyddech byth yn coelio hynny o weld y ffordd y gwnaeth yr hogiau ifanc berfformio ar y noson.

Hefyd yn dychwelyd ir tm roedd Richard Hughes sydd heb fod ar gael ers sawl tymor oherwydd galwadau gwaith.

Roedd yn dda iw weld yn l a dwi'n deall y bydd ar gael yn amlach y tymor nesaf.

Yn ogystal cholli Ryan Davies a Gareth Parry roedd Carl Owen, Danny Hughes, Paul Friel a Mike Foster hefyd allan.

Teimlais fod Port yn llawn haeddu bod ar y blaen ar hanner amser ond roeddwn yn poeni braidd nad oeddynt wedi llawn fanteisio ar y cyfleoedd a grwyd yn y cyfnod hwn.

Cyfartal oedd hi yn yr ail hanner gyda Bangor yn creu nifer o gyfleoedd da gydar diolch yn bennaf yn mynd i Paul Roberts, cyn seren Port. Fo sgoriodd y gl ac roedd hefyd yng nghanol bron pob un o ymosodiadau Bangor.

Wrth ir gm dynnu at y terfyn, ymddangosai fwyfwy y byddain rhaid bodloni ar y pwynt. Hynny yw cyn eiliad lachar Les Davies!

Pan dderbyniodd groesiad Jason Sadler, roedd digon ar l iw wneud gydar golwr allan yn sydyn ond llwyddodd er yr ongl anodd.

Daeth Les yn l i dalur pwyth i glwb a adawodd iddo fynd ond maen bwysig pwysleisio nad sioe Les Davies oedd hin unig. Gall chwaraewyr fel Jon Peris ac Iwan Thomas a ddaeth i mewn ir tm fod yn falch iawn ou perfformiadau.

Iwan Gareth.

Fan's View - Bangor v Porthmadog

At the start of the season, when asked why Les Davies was allowed to move to Port, it was suggested by Bangor supporters that the big man wasnt good enough for his home town club. I wonder if they still believe this?

Two superb strikes by Davies gave Port their victory, and sent his battalion of fans wild!

Both goals were rockets, but the absence of cameras will mean that he will once again be robbed of the goal of the month award.

Les showed his appreciation to his many young supporters by paying their bus fares for the trip up to Farrar Road.

It was good to see the Port fans making so much noise at an away game drowning out the home supporters.

It was a bit of a shame to see the Bangor supporters, once the most vociferous in the league, remaining so quiet in a derby match. This cant be good for the league.

The Port team for this game was very much weakened, although you wouldnt have thought that from the performances of the young lads that came in.

Also returning into the team was Richard Hughes who has been out for the past few seasons because of work commitments.

His return is very welcome indeed, and I understand he will be available for most matches next season.

In addition to the absences of Ryan Davies and Gareth Parry, Port were also missing Carl Owen, Danny Hughes, Paul Friel and Mike Foster.

I felt that Port deserved to be ahead at the interval, but you did fear that they had not taken full advantage of the chances they had created in the first period.

It was very even in the second half with Bangor also creating numerous chances, thanks mainly to ex-Porthmadog star Paul Roberts. He got the goal and was at the centre of nearly every Bangor attack.

As the game drew to a close, it seemed that we would have to settle for a point. That was however before a Les Davies moment of brilliance.

When he received the cross from Jason Sadler he had plenty to do with the Bangor keeper closing in, but managed to score from a tight angle.

Les came back to haunt the club who had very foolishly claimed he wasnt good enough, but its important to stress that it wasnt just the Les Davies show. Players like Jon Peris and Iwan Thomas, who came into the team, can be very proud of the accounts they gave.

Iwan Gareth.
